About Compressed Air Co.

Compressed Air & Equipment Company was founded in 1979 by Rick Foss. Originally a small one-man operation, he repaired and sold compressors from a building on the family farm. In 1981 Champion Pneumatic signed on as our first name brand supplier, offering 1 to 25 horsepower reciprocating air compressors. The following year we began our relationship with Quincy Compressor, one of the "giants" in the air compressor industry. The next two years growth brought the need to double the size of our facilities to handle our increasing product lines and 4 employees.

In 1998, merely 9 years after the start of this "part-time" business, we purchased a 14,500 square foot building in LaPorte City. Now Compressed Air & Equipment Company was able to offer one of the area's largest equipment and parts inventories in order to better serve our constantly increasing customer base.

Compressed Air & Equipment now operates out of a 20,500 square foot facility. We have 4 service and repair crews and offer our customers emergency service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our sales and support staff now serves all of eastern Iowa as autorized distributors of numerous major brands of air compressors, air dryers, air treatment and filtration systems, as well as related compressed air acccessory products. Our customers include industrial, medical/hospital, service industry, schools, contractors, and even the small hobbyist.
